Adam Friedlander

Adam Friedlander is a still life photographer based in New York City. He studied music in college, then decided to pursue photography shortly after graduating. His approach to photography is similar to his musical background: calculated and precise, while embracing improvisation and playfulness. His work romanticizes the mundane, and creates an atmosphere of warmth and yearning.

Adam’s work has been featured in publications like The New York Times and New York Magazine. He can often be found flipping through a photo book while listening to '60s Blue Note records.
